National School Speech Winner

Marcus Dowd, a 5th grade student at Carolina Forest International Elementary School last year, competed nationally against 960,000 students fifth through eighth grade and was selected as the first place winner in the National Modern Woodmen of America School Speech contest with the topic of "Hunger in America".
