13 schools particpated in the 2011 Elementary Battle of the Books!

Onslow County had so many schools competing in the Elementary Battle of the Books, it had to have 2 locations to host the competitions! Thirteen school participated this year, nearly doubling the number that "battled" last year. Parkwood Elementay hosted the Division A teams and Swansboro Elementary hosted the Division B squads. The competitions took place on Friday, April 8th.

The top 3 teams from each division will go on to Summersill Elementary for the county finals on Friday, April 21, 2011 at 9:00 AM. Bell Fork, Parkwood, and Southwest were the top schools from Division A. The top 3 teams from Division B were Stateside, Summersill, and Swansboro.
