Exceptional Children Staff Presents at NC CEC State Conference

Dr. Brenda Scott and Louise Ehrenkaufer, two Exceptional Children Department members, recently presented at the state conference for the North Carolina Council on Exceptional Children (NC CEC).  Their topic was titled, "Extreme Makeover:  Constructing Interactive and Adapted Materials".  The presentation described a mini-grant received by the Assistive Technology Library library staff to purchase math and science literacy books and materials for adaptation by exceptional children teachers for use in their classrooms.  Workshops were sponsored by the library to adapt the materials. The presentation was well received by exceptional children educators from across the state of North Carolina. A special "Thank You" to the teachers who attended the workshops and helped to construct the materials:
