It is the intent of the Onslow County School District to ensure that students who are handicapped within the definition of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 are identified, evaluated and provided with appropriate educational services.  Due process rights of handicapped students and their parents under Section 504 will be enforced.

Each school in the Onslow County School System has a 504 contact that can assist with parent questions. 

The District Coordinator is responsible for handling any questions in regards to identification, evaluation, placement and complaints of disability discrimination in regards to Section 504.
