The Onslow Literacy Council held an Open House at 6:30 p.m. on April 30 in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church (Jacksonville, NC).  Students from New Bridge Middle School were present to provide assistance.

According to Dr. Barnes, principal of New Bridge Middle School, the school plans to continue a partnership with the Onslow Literacy Council through the newly formed NBMS Jr. Civitan organization.   Jr. Civitan advisor Chris Lagona has been tasked with working to determine the most appropriate way to partner with this important organization during the 2012-13 school year.
