The Public Affairs Office is the link between the Onslow County School System and the community. It is charged with building and maintaining positive relationships with the community in support of the district's vision, mission and goals.

Responsibilities include fielding media queries, promoting upcoming public events, disseminating information to the media and presenting particulars on the achievements of our extraordinary students and staff.

The Public Affairs – Community Affairs Department also coordinates the areas of community relations and business partnerships including the School Express Card and BASES — Businesses Assisting Schools in Educating Students.
